Waste Not Accepted

At Lakeside Refuse, safety and environmental responsibility are our top priorities. To keep our drivers, equipment, and disposal facilities safe, certain materials cannot be collected with regular household trash.
Below is a list of items we do not accept in residential or commercial pickups:

Hazardous or Restricted Waste

  • Paints, stains, solvents, or oils

  • Batteries (car, lithium, or rechargeable)

  • Pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers

  • Chemicals, acids, and cleaning agents

  • Propane tanks or fuel containers

Electronics & Appliances

  • TVs, computers, and monitors

  • Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners (containing Freon)

Construction & Industrial Debris

  • Concrete, bricks, asphalt, or dirt

  • Tires, engines, or auto parts

Medical or Biohazard Materials

  • Sharps, needles, or medical waste

  • Animal carcasses
